Model United Nations Conferences are a compilation of politically astute youth who learn through voicing their thoughts on global concerns. The conference aims at instigating young minds to think beyond issues that plague the world harmony and to look for solutions to the problems that disturb humanity together. It is an opportunity to gain knowledge through peaceful negotiations and collective decision making. Understanding the importance of MUNs and how it can serve as a tool to develop speaking, debating and negotiation skills amongst students, GLC MUN Society was established in 2008 to provide students a platform where they could be introduced to the concept of MUNs and Youth Parliaments. 

The GLC MUN Society aims to educate the students about the format and advantages of MUNs (an internationally recognized form of debate, discussion and deliberation). The Society assists the students and facilitates greater participation of the students of GLC at various City, National and International MUN Conferences, and officially selects and sends contingents from college to these Conferences. The activities of the Society involve young people in the study and discussion of global issues and encourage the development of useful skills such as research, writing, public speaking, problem solving.

The GLCMUN Society is round the year active in organising numerous events and conducting seminars. Furthermore, the Society organises ‘Freedom Fighter P.N. Agrawal Essay Writing Competition’ which is open for all the students, with various essay topics for them to explore their potential. Throughout the academic year, we sent contingent to reputed MUN Conferences all over the world, a few being hosted by various IITs, Harvard Institution & World MUN. Students of GLC have won widespread accolades for their achievements on national as well as on International Level. MUNSOC is organising its annual flagship event GLC MUN since 2008, which is a pan-India Conference where more than 400 delegates from various educational institutes take part to discuss, deliberate and propose solutions on matters of National as well as International concerns. This year we look forward to organising the 14th Edition of GLC MUN with the aim to educate participants about International Relations, Policies and Politics and to provide an opportunity to further their horizon of knowledge by finding strong and amicably agreed solutions to the problems which affect the entire world.
